I used to think structure was for people with boring lives. Color-coded calendars, 5 a.m. alarms, that whole thing. My days were "flexible," which is a generous word for what was really happening: I'd wake up, scroll for twenty minutes, decide what to do based on whatever felt least annoying, and go to bed around midnight wondering where the day went.
